Which size do I want?

Decide what it's for first — sofa throw or bed cover. They're very different sizes and it's the most common thing people get wrong.

Size	Best for
150 × 200 cm	Sofa throw. Drapes over the back or the arm of a two or three-seater, and wraps one adult on the couch.
200 × 230 cm	Queen bed cover, or a large sectional. Sits as a top layer with a short drop each side.
230 × 250 cm	King bed, full coverage. Enough to hang properly over both sides rather than sitting on top like a runner.

For a bed, go one size up from what the mattress measures. A throw that only just reaches the edges looks undersized once someone's slept under it.
